Import Face-Off is known for being the most innovative Import series in the U.S. with event activities that follow current market trends. Much more than just a race and show, IFO fans spend the entire day enjoying the ultimate lifestyle event of the year. All together, series activities include: car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing, Usaci stereo crank it up contest, model expo, bikini contest, burnout contest, DJs, live concerts, break dance battles, dyno, drift exhibitions, road course racing, professional midget wrestling, arm wrestling, and mixed martial arts (ultimate fighting) exhibitions. CLASS DESCRIPTION
11.50 and slower Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class for F/R/AWD import brand, domestic sport compact, or domestic sub compact motor vehicles (no motorcycles, LS1 RX7s, etc). Sport compact vehicles include any FWD or AWD 4 cylinder vehicles. Sub compact vehicles include any 4 or 6 cylinder vehicle shorter than 168 inches in length. *Domestic badged Import vehicles permitted, ex. Eagle Talon, Dodge Stealth, etc. Any IMPORT manufacturer engine allowed. Air-cooled entries allowed. Domestic car bodies with Import brand manufacturer motor swaps allowed. No restriction on power adder type or combination thereof. Any transmission allowed. Slicks or DOT tires allowed. Any type of exhaust allowed.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Open class for any make/model vehicle (motorcycles and rwd domestics included). No payouts. Competition racers are welcome to run in the Test and Tune lane any time of the day, even after being eliminated from other competition classes.

All vehicles 11.49 and faster in AMP, FIP, FWD, and OL required to have oil containment device (pan or diaper). Highly modified, non-factory setups (determined at IFO staff's discretion) 11.49 and faster in AMS, FIS, BR, and TnT also required to have oil containment device. Racers lacking oil containment device when required may still race at IFO staff's discretion, but only after submitting a $100 track clean up deposit. Deposit returned to racer at end of event pending no oil down.

CLASS SUMMARY
Heads-Up, Pro-tree (.400) class for FWD only import brand/sport compact vehicles ONLY. Wheelie bars, one piece front ends, and straight axles prohibited for FI cars, OK for NA. Two qualifying passes permitted.

BODY
Import or domestic compact car bodies allowed. Non-factory glass/lexan windows and one piece front ends prohibited for forced induction applications, but allowed for naturally aspirated. Tail lights and head lights required (one may be removed for induction purposes) for forced induction applications.

INTERIOR
Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. No center drive configurations. Dash must remain for forced induction applications.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Full tube chassis prohibited. Back-half chassis and tubes are not allowed. No center-drive systems. Wheelie bars and straight axles prohibited for forced induction applications, but allowed for naturally aspirated.

ENGINE
Only OEM 4 or 6 cylinder motor entries allowed. No air-cooled or rotary engines allowed. Motor swaps allowed as long as they stay within the same manufacturer.

POWER ADDERS
Turbochargers (limit 72.9 mm), Superchargers, and Nitrous Oxide Systems permitted in any combination. Turbo measured at inducer.

DRIVETRAIN AND TRANSMISSION
FWD only.

EXHAUST
Any type of exhaust system permitted.

TIRES
Any DOT approved tires allowed. Slicks limited to 25.0 for forced induction applications and 26.0 for naturally aspirated and automatic transmission applications. *updated 12/15/14

No excessive cutting allowed for weight reduction or wheel clearance purposes (cutting for aero only OK). Tail lights and head lights required (one may be removed for induction purposes). 3 piece (widened) front ends OK. Non-factory glass/lexan windows prohibited.

INTERIOR
Doors must open and close from inside and outside the vehicle. No center drive configurations. All seats (front and back), door panels, dash, and carpet (front and back) must remain inside vehicle.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: A 9.99 and faster "anything goes" class for Pro style only import BRAND or domestic SPORT COMPACT engine vehicle that is not within the rules of any other Import Face-Off heads up class. Domestic sport compact = any FWD or AWD 4 cyl. *Domestic badged Import vehicles permitted, ex. Eagle Talon, Dodge Stealth, etc. Racers can not race in Outlaw if already eligible to compete in another heads up class. Tube chassis, slicks, one piece front ends, plus air cooled and especially wheelie barred rotary entries allowed! No restrictions on exhaust, interior, or tires. No restriction on power adder type or combination thereof. Any transmission allowed. Slicks or DOT tires allowed. Any type of exhaust allowed. Drivers responsible for their own dial in time. Eliminations may be random pairing with no ladder. Any racer caught moving in the lanes to switch opponent will be immediately disqualified from the competition.

*OIL CONTAINMENT RULING STARTING IN 2017
All vehicles 11.49 and faster in AMP, FIP, FWD, and OL required to have oil containment device (pan or diaper). Highly modified, non-factory setups (determined at IFO staff's discretion) 11.49 and faster in AMS, FIS, BR, and TnT also required to have oil containment device. Racers lacking oil containment device when required may still race at IFO staff's discretion, but only after submitting a $100 track clean up deposit. Deposit returned to racer at end of event pending no oil down.

***If someone in your class is not within the rules, immediately ask for IFO staff to protest. Once your vehicle is staged, you accept all conditions of the race.

***Contestants may be disqualified from an event or banned from the series at the discretion of IFO staff for any one of the following reasons including, but not limited to 1) breaking rules 2) excessive oil downs 3) playing excessively loud music with explicit lyrics 4) bad sportsmanship 5) illegitimate protests against opponents who are not breaking rules 6) verbal abuse of event staff 7) disrespect/personal attacks towards the IFO series, track host, and/or fellow contestants.
