Street Car Takeover is coming to Bristol Tn TWICE in 2023! This first event will be a combined event with Cleetus McFarland. We will be hosting the racing on the drag strip Friday April 21st and Cleetus will be hosting racing over at the circle track Saturday April 22nd (details on his event to follow). This will be a fun filled weekend of motorsports that will get any enthusiast something to look forward too! This is also a PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY event for all racers!!

EVENT DETAILS:
April 21st 2023 Bristol Motor Speedway at Thunder Valley (drag strip)
This event will be a ONE day racing event at the drag strip followed by an event at Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday April 22nd hosted by Cleetus McFarland. Be sure to follow his page and YouTube channel for those announcements.
For the drag racing this event will feature three classes ONLY. Small Tire N/T, Street Racer Class and Monster Clutch Co Stick Shift Class. We will also have an open exhibition class. The Small Tire class will be 1/8th mile with the rest of the classes being 1/4 mile. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER TO RACE as spots are very limited!
Friday April 21st
-1:00pm Gates open for RACERS
-1:30pm Tech opens for RACERS
-3:00pm Gates open for SPECTATORS
-4:00pm Open test n tune begins
-6:00pm Street Racer Class, Small Tire N/T and Monster Clutch Co. Stick Shift Class first round eliminations
-6:00pm-11:00pm eliminations
Racing details:
-Radial prepped event
-.400 pro tree
-Single eliminations
-Poker chip draw for pairings first round then ladder.
Classes:
-Small Tire N/T: 1/8th mile, .400 tree, clocks off but timing system will be on, heads up, must be a stock bodied vin # chassis, open to any engine combo, limited to one power adder type unless 6 cylinders or less, no weight limitations, must be on a 28x10.5 NON W or 275-smaller radial tire. AWD is permitted.
-Street Racer Class: 1/4 mile, .400 tree, heads up, must be a stock bodied vin # chassis, DOT drive tires only (pro bracket radial or similar tire is permitted), AWD permitted, must drive to and from lanes under own power, must be tagged and insured, must have cooling system in use (radiator), any fuel permitted, any power adder permitted, any size tire permitted.
-Monster Clutch Co. Stick Shift Class: 1/4 mile, .400 tree, heads up, Only open to H pattern 4 speed, 5 speed, 6 speed, and 7 speed manual vehicles. No Sequential’s, no exceptions, stock wheel base, any tire permitted, any power adder and engine combo permitted.
-Open exhibition: Open to any racer not wanting to compete in the classes.
