RACER REGISTRATION for all classes for the Virginia Motorsports Park Street Outlaws No Prep Kings 6/9/23 and 6/10/23

Event Details

Schedule of Events and Rules for classes open to outside registration.

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL EVENTS:

General Rules for Each Class.
1. The racemaster has final say in all calls and discrepancies.
2. All races will be 1/8th mile, heads up, from a dig.
3. No times will be shown and no time slips will be given.
4. This is a NO PREP race. The racemaster will have sole discretion as to all maintenance done to the surface of the track.
5. All racers must attend a mandatory drivers meeting before each round. During the drivers meeting the racemaster will go over the rules and do pairings.
6. Pairings and lane choice will be decided with a chip draw.
7. Each racer can only draw one BYE. Competition byes do not count towards this.
8. The timing system will be determined by the racemaster. The racemaster will relay the specifics of the timing system during the drivers meeting.
9. If you jump, you lose. The red light means the race is over and the win is automatically given to the other driver. Chase is NOT a race.
10. WATER burnout only at the racers meeting, racers to decide on how many burnouts. Racemaster will make final decision if need be. The drivers can burnout past the starting line.
11. Crossing the center line will result in disqualification, unless the race is over.
12. If a piece of your car comes off and goes into the other lane IN FRONT of your competitor you lose, unless the race is over.
13. There will be ONE 10 minute call to the lanes. When the time between rounds is up, you must be in the staging lane or you can be disqualified.
14. All cars must pass track safety inspection and meet the class rules outlined on the next page. Driver is required to wear all required safety gear, according to track policies. Track staff will have final say on safety inspection and must sign off on the tech card before a racer makes a pass down the track.
15. Engine diapers mandatory for all classes
16. All cars must have NHRA or IHRA chassis certification


FRIDAY EVENTS

SMALL TIRE SHOOTOUT - $100 Buy In. 100% payout. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Rules: 28x10.5 non-W, max 3 in over factory wheel base, no wheelie bars, factory VIN for
year/make/model, Car must have steel quarters and steel roof (OEM Corvette fiberglass OK).

STREET CAR 7.0 -$100 Buy In. 100% payout. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Door Cars Only
Rules: No optical sensors, or gps assisted timing controllers.
Electric or pneumatic throttle stops are permitted,
Delay boxes are permitted,
Electric or air shifters are permitted,
7.0 breakout.

SATURDAY EVENTS

SMALL TIRE BRAWL - $5000 Guaranteed, $100 Buy In. - OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
28x10.5 non W or smaller
No wheelie bars
Wheel base must be +\- 3 from stock
Car must have steel quarters and steel roof (OEM Corvette fiberglass OK).
Racers and crew must arrive at the track before 3 pm on Friday to complete registration and be parked. Crew tickets are $50 each for the weekend and must be purchased with entry fee. Parking is $60 for the weekend.


STREET CAR 7.0 - $3000 Guaranteed, $100 Buy In. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Door cars only,

FUTURE STREET OUTLAWS RACE - $3000 Guaranteed, $500 Buy In. - OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. At any time, any participant in this event, at the discretion of Producers, can be pulled into the Street Outlaws Main Event Invitational. Rules for this event mimic the Street Outlaws Invitational.
Racers and crew must arrive at the track before 11 am on Saturday to complete registration and be parked. Crew tickets are $50 each for the weekend and must be purchased with entry fee. Parking is $60 for the weekend.

1. All rounds will be 1/8th mile, heads up from a dig
2. Green Light Start (exact green method will depend on the applicable track's tree, and is to be determined in NPK Rules Committee 's sole discretion in consultation with Producer and Compliance)
3. Red Light Active
a) If a Racer jumps, they lose
b) Red light means the race is over and the win is automatically given to the other driver.
c) Chase is NOT a race
4. Water burnout only - No more than two burnouts. If required, the NPK Rules Committee will make final decision if necessary.
5. Crossing the center line between start/finish line will result in disqualification.
6. If a piece of a Racer's vehicle comes off and goes into the other lane IN FRONT of the competitor Racer, they lose (zip ties and duct tape are Racer's friends) unless the Race is over.
7. This is NO PREP. The NPK Rules Committee will have sole discretion as to all maintenance done to the surface of the track
8. In the first round of each Race, call outs are allowed before the chip draw. No call outs for any other round. For all call-outs each car must make it to the 660 mark on its own power. If not, then neither Racer gets the points for that run, but the winning Vehicle will proceed to the next round. If someone redlights, each vehicle still must make a pass to the 660.
9. Once at the entry to the burnout box, Racers will be given 2 minutes to start and proceed forward when instructed by official to do so. Time clock will be controlled by NPK Rules Committee or a track official.
10. Once any Racer enters the burnout box, the second Racer must also enter within 2 minutes
11. After the first Racer starts burnout, the second Racer has 1 minute to start their burnout, and after the second Racer burnout, Racers have 1 minutes to stage.
12. If a problem arises with a Racer's vehicle after they cross the ready line, the Racer will be given 1 minute to address the issue and continue. Time clock will be controlled by NPK Rules Committee or a track official..
13. Track officials and/or the race starter have authority to monitor vehicle and safety equipment. Failure to utilize all safety equipment, water, oil or fuel on the track from competitor and/or creating an unsafe condition may result in a "loss of run” and will be solely left to the starters' discretion.
14. Courtesy stage active
15. After each run of the Race, the vehicle must cross the scales with same Participant driver with no tow vehicle connected. Loose ballast is grounds for disqualification of the run and/or the Race.
16. In consideration of fuel loss, vehicle must be within 15lbs of required weight. No Exceptions. At 16lbs the run will be disqualified.
17. Any accidental loss of weight will be taken into consideration and final call to be made by NPK Rules Committee

Rules are subject to change by Producer from time to time, with or without notice, in Producer’s sole discretion. All determinations made by Producer in connection with the interpretation and implementation of these Tournament Rules shall be final, binding, and not subject to challenge or appeal.
1. OVERVIEW AND ELIGIBILITY
a. Vehicle Eligibility:
i. All vehicles must pass track safety inspection and meet the class rules of the Vehicle Guidelines outlined herein conducted by the applicable track staff and the no prep king technical advisors (“NPK Tech Team”).
ii. Racers are required to have installed and wear all required safety gear and equipment in accordance with the track and NPK policies. Track staff and the NPK Tech Team will have final say on safety inspection and must sign off on the tech card before a Racer makes a pass down the track.
iii. Each vehicle must provide their current NHRA ETI (Extended Technical Inspection) certification upon request. The ETI will remain in effect for remainder of the Tournament.
iv. Failure to use and keep all SFI safety equipment and combinations current through the duration of the Tournament will be grounds for disqualification.
v. If any combination is changed resulting in a change in the minimum weight requirement of the car, the NPK Tech Team or rules committee must be notified before making another run in any Race.
b. Vehicle substitutions:
i. Participants may substitute their vehicle and/or acquire a new vehicle so long as such replacement vehicle also meets the Vehicle Guidelines and is approved by Producer. Each Participant must seek and obtain such pre-approval of any vehicle changes before the start of racing at the Event where they wish to make the substitution. i.e. - they must drive the vehicle that the Producers have approved for the tournament.
ii. Unless approved by Producer, no swapping out vehicles will be permitted unless a vehicle is broken.
iii. Racers must race same vehicle both nights of the Race weekend.
2. VEHICLE GUIDELINES
a. Body:
i. All entries must maintain the factory wheelbase, plus or minus (+ or -) 3 inches maximum, and an overall OEM factory style and external/outwardly appearance of year, make, and model being represented. Any modifications that change the external appearance of the vehicle must be approved by producers before they will be allowed to compete.
ii. Aftermarket and modified front ends are permitted but must maintain an overall factory style, appearance, and proportions, of year, make, and model being represented. Front ends may be extended no more than 3 inches behind the spindle or 2 inches in front of the spindle to achieve up to a maximum 47” overhang measured from center of the front spindle to front edge of the bumper or valence.
iii. An extended beam-tripper is permitted and can achieve a maximum 47” overhang measured from center of the front spindle to front edge of the beam-tripper. Beam-tripper must maintain 3” minimum ground clearance.
iv. Model and year specific composite bodies (Corvette) and OEM composite roof panel (4th Gen Camaro/Firebird) permitted for the vehicle being represented.
v. Vehicles must have full steel roof, full steel quarters, and OEM Factory VIN tag affixed as close as possible to the factory location. Steel panel overlays of any kind are prohibited.
vi. Rear Spoiler or Wing:
1. The maximum length of wing deck is 20 inches measured from the center of the trailing edge of the original deck lid location to the trailing edge of the center of the wing.
2. The leading edge of the wing deck may not extend towards the rear window more than one third of the original deck lid length.
3. The maximum wicker bill height is 2 inches at any point along the trailing edge of the wing. Any positive wing angle is considered for 2” maximum wicker height.
4. The maximum sill plate size is 27 inches long, 8 inches tall, and only a maximum of 2 inches in height may extend above the wing deck surface.
vii. Repairs or Construction of Vehicles: Before proceeding with any builds or changes that do not fit within the Vehicle Guidelines of the Tournament Rules, racer should submit proposed changes to NPK Rules Committee for approval.
b. General vehicle guidelines
i. The use of dual power adders is prohibited.
ii. Vehicles must be able to pass NHRA Advanced E.T. tech for the weight and speed that each vehicle is capable of running.
iii. All vehicles must have a neutral safety switch in working order.
iv. All vehicles must have two working taillights and must have them on after sundown.
v. Front / side exit style headers must have turn ups or be directed away from starting line sensors.
c. Weight Limitations/Specifications:
i. All vehicles’ weights must conform to the NPK Invitational Tech Weight rules

DAILY DRIVER - $500 GUARANTEED, FREE TO ENTER. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Rules: Must be tagged, titled, and insured. Factory glass, body panels, and frame. Full interior required. No roll cage or roll bars, unless factory installed. No trans-brakes or two-steps. No parachutes. No slicks or drag radials (200 treadwear minimum on tires). Pump gas only. Full exhaust. Must be able to hot lap. Must wear helmet.
