Event Details

Dragway 42 is located in West Salem, Ohio and has been in existence for over 50 years originally opening in 1957. The facility has undergone a complete ground up renovation and is now one of the nicest sportsman tracks in the country! Dragway 42 is a multi-purpose facility that will host Drag Racing, Autocross Racing, Tractor & Truck Pulling and Concerts/Music Festivals as well as many other specialty events. Rock N Race is the event that combines nostalgia drag racing with nostalgia Rock N Roll! This event was fist held in 2006 and is probably the most anticipated event of the year at Dragway 42. Rock N Race will be the only event of its kind at Dragway 42 and promises to be the biggest event of the year! 10 bands, 7 divisions of race cars 1979 and older. Heads UP racing on Saturday! Sunday is handicap Racing. This is a nostalgia event no delay boxes or throttle stops. Car show with fun runs! Gassers, Dragsters, Muscle Cars, 409's! Altereds, Hot Rods, Willy's ! New this year is the BADD AZZ Bracket Bash 1/8 mile anything goes 79 and older door cars. $4,000 + prizes to win! This race is saturday as well. So much going on it is insane! BE THERE!
