As the Arch in St. Louis is the Gateway to connecting both sides of the country, World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway is bringing drag racing back to the NMRA and NMCA communities after the COVID-19 pandemic! Race officials are moving the NMRA championship classes to the last weekend of May under the NMCA Power Festival extravaganza. It will be a spectacle for racers and fans with an enormous line-up of special events and over 25 heads-up and index categories and over 600 race vehicles.
The Mickey Thompson Radial Rampage is a special program that runs Friday Night and Saturday Night under the lights with the biggest classes in that genre. Thanks to our partners at Mickey Thompson Tires there will be Radial vs. The World, Limited Drag Radial, VP Racing Maddatives Street Outlaw combined with the NMCA Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw class, and Edelbrock Renegade/Xtreme Street. Also included is a robust all-American UPR Products Car Show and Manufacturer's Midway with show specials.

This huge motorsport event brings together the two biggest muscle car drag racing series in the country. All the stars and all the cars of the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) and the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) are in one place to compete for huge cash prizes and a visit to the Aerospace Components Winners Circle!
Its heaven for enthusiasts and racers who are fans of the American muscle car both modern and classic versions of these iconic vehicles.
The NMRA/NMCA Power Festival is one of the biggest and most exciting events of the season featuring some of the worlds fastest American muscle cars. The Atlanta Dragway staff works closely with the NMRA/NMCA team to make sure that the track surface is super sticky. Racers will appreciate the consistency on the racetrack and the diehard fans will be ready to cheer them on as they go head-to-head and put their cars on the ragged edge!
This event also features the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Seriesthe oldest and boldest LS race of the year! All of the teams in points competition will be laying it on the line at this event, for a chance to win big money. With three classes filled with awesome LS/LT-powered cars, the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series has grown leaps and bounds since its inception.
Running Friday through Sunday, there's a huge manufacturer's midway packed with vendors and representatives from some of the best aftermarket companies in the industry. A giant All-American Car Show is another part of the NMRA/NMCA experience where early- and late-model Chevys, Fords and Mopars will compete for trophies on Saturday and Sunday.
If you have a street legal ride, the True Street class is open to anyone with the desire to go fast. After a 30-mile cruise, all True Street cars get three consecutive runs down the quarter-mile for the chance to win cash and prizes. The Aerospace Components Winners Circle is the place that every racer wants to go because that means "Trophy Time!"
